The soil is composed of micaschists and warm granite, covered with sand and pebbles. "Le Légendaire" is a selection of old vines; most of them are more than 70 years old.
Tasting :
"Le LEGENDAIRE", contrary to the other Muscadet of the estate, is left minimum 36 months on its lees during it ageing; it consequently develops more complex aromas like ripe white fruits and lightly smoky hints. This full bodied wine is surprising and offers a very pleasant tasting. Exquisite!
Food and wine pairing
"Le Légendaire" can be served as an aperitif and then with cream-based refined dishes, grilled fish, sellfish and poultries. This wine goes also best with matured cheese and at the end of the meal, it can be served with pear-based desserts and caramel-coated apples.
