Thanks to his great knowledge of our terroirs, Luc has been bringing a solid experience to his whole team.
From 1980, Luc decided to turn to Integrate Farming that proved to be the right decision because we signed the charter of environment protection in 1991.
So that today,the Domaine des Herbauges, is a respectful estate of the environment and the consequences for our estate are as follows :
* We keep the grass
* Cultural practices closer to the soil and the plant
* Observations and analyses before any intervention
The wine-harvest is made mechanically thanks to two machines. This is a qualitative choice : indeed, we need to wait for the maturity of the grapes but once reached, we have to pick up the grape very quikly.
Moreover, the innovation in terms of machines enable an excellent sorting.
